The City of New York has been a long contested prize, although the Sabbat have made most of the area its domain. Nonetheless, the Camarilla have maintained a continual presence in Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn; mainly on Wall Street, in the universities, and in the tightly networked Nosferatu sewer kingdom. Additionally, a number of independent Giovanni and Followers of Set hold small but tightly-knit spheres of influence in the city's criminal underbelly.

The City of New York, well-known for being the most populated city in the United States of America, is made up of five boroughs. Throughout the five boroughs there are hundreds of distinct neighborhoods, many with a definitive history and character to call their own.
